Pip Taylor

A former professional athlete, Accredited Sports erformance Dietitian, high performance consultant, Director of the Board and facilitator. I bring credibility, authenticity, and expertise.

As an athlete I enjoyed nearly 15 years competing at the highest level including reaching the World Number One ranking; representing Australia in multiple elite teams; and having wins on the world stage in the sport of triathlon. During this time, I also racked up invaluable experiences, connections and life lessons that influence and enrich my personal and professional life today.
In my sporting and professional careers, I have been fortunate to train with, learn from and work with athletes, coaches, and specialists from various backgrounds and across different sports. Elite sport is a demanding playground - but these learnings and skills can be translated across into other areas of life.
My interests lie in identifying motivations and opportunities, as well as barriers to change, to guide success for high performing individuals and teams. I believe nutrition is the foundation of health, wellbeing and performance and sport is a powerful driver of positive change for individuals as well as communities.
My formal qualifications are grounded in science - with a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and post graduate Sports Nutrition. I have co-authored research on the complex topic of gut microbiome and performance in elite athletes. This scientific base drives my critical thinking to bridge the gap between evidence-based science and the practical. In addition, I have extensive media work as a Contributing Editor feature writer, and across print, digital, TV and podcast/live radio, and am always happy when presenting and facilitating workshops.

Why does Pip support Pillar Performance?

Section Image

As a former athlete and as performance dietitian advising and supporting elite/professional athletes and high performers on nutrition strategy and implementation, there has always been a gap between the research and the products available to support health and performance safely and effectively.
Pillar Performance fills that gap by providing high quality, safe and trusted sources of evidence-based micronutrients in a powerful efficacious dose.
